Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We may require you or your Designated Business Manager attend all supplemental and refresher training programs that we designate. We may charge you a reasonable fee for any supplemental and refresher training programs. You must pay the then-current fee for such training programs, if any, and all personal travel and living expenses.

We may choose to provide you with continuing national, regional or local conference calls, meetings or conferences, which we hold in our discretion. You must pay the then-current conference fee (between $300 to $750 per person), if any, and all travel and living expenses. As of the date of this disclosure document, we strongly recommend but do not require, that you attend these conferences. We reserve the right to make future conference calls, meetings or conferences mandatory. These future training events are held at our Richmond, Virginia headquarters or at a location chosen by us (Section 7.4(b) of the Franchise Agreement).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing may require franchisees or their Designated Business Manager to attend supplemental and refresher training programs that they designate. Bumble Roofing may charge a reasonable fee for these supplemental and refresher training programs.

If such training programs are mandated, the franchisee is responsible for paying the then-current fee for the training, as well as covering all personal travel and living expenses associated with attending the training. This means that franchisees need to factor in potential additional costs for ongoing training beyond the initial program.

Bumble Roofing also may choose to provide continuing national, regional, or local conference calls, meetings, or conferences, which they hold at their discretion. As of the date of the FDD, attendance at these conferences is strongly recommended but not required; however, Bumble Roofing reserves the right to make future conferences mandatory. The franchisee is responsible for the conference fee (between $300 to $750 per person) and all travel and living expenses. These events are held at Bumble Roofing's headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, or at a location chosen by them.
