What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to pay a conference fee if they attend national, regional, or local conferences. These conferences are held at Bumble Roofing's discretion, and attendance is strongly recommended but not mandatory as of the FDD's issue date. However, Bumble Roofing reserves the right to make future conferences mandatory. Franchisees are also responsible for all travel and living expenses associated with attending these conferences. These events may be held at Bumble Roofing's headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, or at another location of their choosing.
The conference fee ranges from $300 to $750 per person. This fee is in addition to the franchisee's travel and living expenses. Bumble Roofing may also choose to provide mandatory annual conferences, for which franchisees must also pay conference fees and cover their own travel and living expenses.
Prospective franchisees should consider these potential costs when evaluating the Bumble Roofing franchise opportunity. It is important to factor in not only the conference fees themselves but also the associated travel and lodging expenses, which can vary depending on the location of the conference and the franchisee's distance from it. Franchisees should also inquire about the frequency and location of these conferences to better estimate the potential financial impact.
