What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Acknowledgment Addendum to the Bumble Roofing Franchise Agreement serves to verify the accuracy and completeness of information provided to the franchisee. Specifically, it aims to determine if any unauthorized or untrue statements or promises were made during the franchise sales process. This addendum ensures that the franchisee understands the limitations on claims they can make regarding the franchise offer, sale, and the operation of their Bumble Roofing business.
The Acknowledgment Addendum requires prospective franchisees to carefully review and honestly answer a series of questions. By signing the addendum, the franchisee confirms that they have thoughtfully considered each question and provided truthful responses, acknowledging that Bumble Roofing will rely on these answers. This process helps to protect Bumble Roofing from potential future disputes or misunderstandings regarding representations made during the franchise sales process.
It's important to note that this Acknowledgment Addendum does not apply to franchisees who intend to operate their Bumble Roofing franchise in the State of California, nor should it be signed by residents or for franchises located in Maryland or Washington. This suggests that California, Maryland and Washington may have specific state laws or regulations that address these issues, making the standard addendum unnecessary or non-compliant. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these state-specific exceptions and ensure they comply with all applicable regulations.
