What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing does not provide placement of local advertising for its franchisees. The franchisee is responsible for local advertising placement.

However, Bumble Roofing does offer assistance with advertising through the National Branding & Marketing Fund, to which franchisees must contribute 1% of gross revenues, and this can be increased up to 2%. These funds are used to develop promotional and advertising programs for Bumble Roofing businesses. The franchisor may use these funds for various advertising activities, including commercial advertising, internet advertising, and direct mail.

Franchisees are required to launch a marketing and advertising campaign in their territory, spending a minimum of $20,000 during the six-month period, beginning one month prior to opening their Roofing Business and the five months after opening. Franchisees must use the marketing materials provided by Bumble Roofing in camera-ready form, and any franchisee-developed advertising materials must be approved in writing by Bumble Roofing prior to use.

While Bumble Roofing provides advertising materials and manages the National Branding & Marketing Fund, franchisees should be aware that the franchisor does not guarantee that advertising expenditures from the fund will directly benefit each franchisee on a pro rata basis or at all. Franchisees are also responsible for securing approval for any advertising materials they create themselves, ensuring compliance with Bumble Roofing's standards.
