You are strongly encouraged to order sales and marketing material from our designated supplier(s). It is a material breach of the Franchise Agreement to use other marketing material without prior written approval. If you desire to use your own advertising materials, you must obtain our prior approval. We will review your request and we will respond in writing within 15 days from the date we receive all requested information. Our failure to notify you in the specified time frame will be deemed a disapproval of your request. Use of logos, Marks and other name identification materials must be consistent with our approved standards. You may not use our logos, Marks and other name identification materials on items to be sold or services to be provided without our prior written approval. If we approve of promotional items or services that will be sold in your Roofing Business, those items or services must be included in your gross revenues.
Except as described above, we are not obligated to spend any amount on advertising in the geographical area where you are or will be located.
We retain the sole right to market on the Internet, including all use of websites, domain names, URL's, linking, advertising, and co-branding arrangements. You may not independently market on the Internet, or use any domain name, address, locator, link, metatag, or search technique, with words or symbols similar to the Marks. We intend that any Franchisee website be accessed only through our home page. You will provide us content for our Internet marketing. We retain the right to approve any linking or other use of our website.
During our last fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, we spent the following amounts from the National Branding & Marketing Fund: 20.7% was used for advertising and promotional materials, 25.1% was used for creative content development, and 54.2% was used for website services.
Site Selection
You must locate the site for operation of your Roofing Business. You may either lease a space for the Roofing Business or operate the Roofing Business from a home office, provided that there is a dedicated office space within the residence. You are not required to secure storage space within the Territory.
Schedule for Opening
If you are purchasing a Franchise, we estimate that the typical length of time between the signing of the Franchise Agreement and the opening of your Roofing Business will be 60 to 90 days. Some factors which may affect this timing are your ability to secure any necessary financing, your ability to obtain any necessary licenses, permits and certifications, the timing of the delivery of equipment, the time of year you execute a Franchise Agreement in relation to the typical season for the Roofing Business. You must open and commence operations of your Roofing Business within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement.
You must comply with all applicable ordinances, building codes and permit requirements and with lease requirements and restrictions. You must apply for any required licenses and permits within 10 business days after signing the Franchise Agreement.
You may not open your Roofing Business until: (1) initial training is completed to our satisfaction; (2) all amounts due to us have been paid; (3) we have been furnished with copies of all insurance policies and certificates required by the Franchise Agreement, or other documentation of insurance coverage and payment of premiums that we request;

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are strongly encouraged to order sales and marketing material from Bumble Roofing's designated suppliers. If a franchisee desires to use their own advertising materials, they must obtain prior written approval from Bumble Roofing. The franchisee must submit a request for approval, and Bumble Roofing will respond in writing within 15 days from the date they receive all requested information. Failure by Bumble Roofing to notify the franchisee in the specified time frame will be deemed a disapproval of the request.
Bumble Roofing requires that the use of logos, Marks and other name identification materials must be consistent with their approved standards. Franchisees may not use Bumble Roofing's logos, Marks and other name identification materials on items to be sold or services to be provided without prior written approval. If Bumble Roofing approves of promotional items or services that will be sold in the Roofing Business, those items or services must be included in the franchisee's gross revenues.
During the period beginning the month prior to opening their Bumble Roofing business and the five months after opening, franchisees will launch a marketing and advertising campaign in their territory and must spend a minimum of $20,000 during that six-month period on advertising approved by Bumble Roofing. Franchisees must also invest a minimum of $65,000 for marketing purposes in their Territory during the first 12 months of operations, plus an additional $15,000 for each additional contiguous Territory. After the first year of operations, franchisees must spend each year the greater of (a) $65,000 plus an additional $15,000 for each additional contiguous Territory, or (b) 5% of the prior year's Gross Revenues.
