ormation and Trade Secrets and are designated by and identified with the Marks described in this Agreement.
WHEREAS, Franchisor's affiliate, Lynx Franchising Intellectual Property, LLC ("Lynx IP") is the owner of certain trademarks and service marks associated with or related to the System, and which represent the System's high standards of quality, service and customer satisfaction, and Lynx IP has granted to Franchisor the right to use and sublicense others to use those trademarks and service marks.
WHEREAS, Franchisee acknowledges the benefits to be derived from being identified with the System, and also recognizes the value of the Marks and the continued uniformity of image to Franchisee, Franchisor, and other franchisees of Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumble Roofing Franchise Disclosure Document, Lynx Franchising Intellectual Property, LLC ("Lynx IP") owns certain trademarks and service marks associated with the Bumble Roofing system. Lynx IP has granted Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC the right to use and sublicense others to use those trademarks and service marks. The Marks include the trademark "BUMBLE ROOFING" along with other trade names, trademarks, taglines, symbols, logos, distinctive names, service marks, certification marks, logo designs, and insignia that Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC owns or licenses. Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC may designate these marks as part of the System for use by franchisees.
Bumble Roofing franchisees acknowledge that the Marks designate the origin or sponsorship of the System, the Business, and the Products and Services. Franchisees also understand that Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC desires to protect the goodwill of the Marks and to preserve and enhance their value.
Furthermore, the franchise agreement stipulates that if a Bumble Roofing franchisee acquires any rights, title, or interest in the Marks, the franchisee must assign all such rights, title, or interest to Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC or Lynx IP, as requested by Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC. This ensures that the franchisor or its affiliate maintains control over the brand's intellectual property.
