What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if any applicable and binding law or rule of any jurisdiction requires a greater prior notice of the termination of the Franchise Agreement than is required in the agreement, the prior notice or other action required by such law or rule will be substituted for the agreement's notice requirements.

The modifications to the Bumble Roofing Franchise Agreement will be effective only in the specific jurisdiction where the conflicting law or rule applies. In all other jurisdictions, the Franchise Agreement will be enforced as originally written.

This means that a Bumble Roofing franchisee needs to be aware of the specific laws and regulations in their state or local jurisdiction that might affect the terms of their Franchise Agreement, particularly regarding termination. The franchisee should consult with a legal professional to understand these local requirements and how they might modify the standard Franchise Agreement. This clause ensures that Bumble Roofing remains compliant with varying legal requirements across different regions while maintaining a consistent agreement structure where possible.
