If a Bumble Roofing franchisee's business grows, what might be required regarding service trucks?
Bumble_Roofing Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must lease or buy service trucks that are large and durable enough to accommodate our standard complement of equipment, tools and accessories. While we currently specify the options of make(s) and model(s) of truck you must acquire or lease, we do not specify the source from which you must acquire or lease it provided it meets our specifications. Your truck(s) must be in good working condition and be outfitted with our trade dress so that they will look the same as other franchisees' trucks when emblazoned with the BUMBLE ROOFING® name, logo and decorations. As your Roofing Business grows, you may require additional trucks.
The vehicle graphics package, ladder, roofing samples, and various tools and equipment are Required Items that you must currently purchase from us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must lease or buy service trucks that can accommodate the standard equipment, tools, and accessories required by the company. While Bumble Roofing specifies the make and model options for these trucks, franchisees can acquire or lease them from any source that meets the company's specifications. These trucks must be in good working condition and display Bumble Roofing's trade dress, including the company name, logo, and decorations, to maintain a consistent brand image. As a Bumble Roofing business expands, the franchisee may need to acquire additional trucks to meet the increased demand.
Bumble Roofing requires franchisees to purchase a vehicle graphics package, ladder, roofing samples, and various tools and equipment directly from them. This ensures uniformity and quality across all franchise locations. While franchisees have some flexibility in choosing where to acquire their service trucks, they must adhere to Bumble Roofing's standards for appearance and functionality.
For a prospective Bumble Roofing franchisee, this means that initial investment costs will include leasing or purchasing a compliant service truck and outfitting it with the required Bumble Roofing branding. Furthermore, as the business grows, franchisees should be prepared to invest in additional trucks to support increased service volume. It is important to factor in these potential capital expenditures when projecting the financial performance of the franchise.
