Other than as described in this paragraph, you may not solicit or accept orders from customers located outside your Territory or use other channels of distribution, including the Internet, catalog sales, telemarketing or other direct marketing.
Customers from your Territory may purchase Services and Products from us and our affiliates or designees over the Internet, or in other reserved channels of distribution without compensation to you. If you advertise or market your Roofing Business outside of your Territory, unless otherwise approved by us, you will be in breach of your Franchise Agreement, and we would have the right to terminate your franchise.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted to soliciting or accepting orders from customers located within their designated territory. The FDD specifies that franchisees "may not solicit or accept orders from customers located outside your Territory or use other channels of distribution, including the Internet, catalog sales, telemarketing or other direct marketing." This means a franchisee's marketing and sales efforts should primarily focus on their assigned area.
However, Bumble Roofing does retain certain rights that could impact a franchisee's territory. For example, franchisees may be granted permission to sell or service customers in an unsold territory adjacent to their own, but this is at Bumble Roofing's discretion and can be revoked with written notice. Additionally, Bumble Roofing reserves the right to sell to National Accounts both inside and outside of a franchisee's territory, without compensating the franchisee.
Furthermore, Bumble Roofing retains the right to market through alternate channels of distribution, including the internet, within or outside the territory. While the document states that Bumble Roofing exclusively reserves the Internet as a channel of distribution, it also mentions that a franchisee may receive a credit for sales in their territory made over the Internet by Bumble Roofing, though the amount is solely determined by Bumble Roofing. Franchisees are also prohibited from marketing their Roofing Business outside of their Territory unless approved by Bumble Roofing, and doing so without approval constitutes a breach of the Franchise Agreement.
