What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at national, regional, or local conferences is currently recommended but not required. However, Bumble Roofing retains the right to make these conferences mandatory in the future. Franchisees are responsible for covering the conference fee, which ranges from $300 to $750 per person, as well as all associated travel and living expenses. These training events are held at Bumble Roofing's headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, or at another location of their choosing.

Bumble Roofing also retains the option to provide mandatory annual conferences, for which franchisees must pay conference fees and cover their own travel and living expenses. These annual conferences may be held at the corporate headquarters or a location chosen by Bumble Roofing. This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often hold conferences for training, networking, and updates on the brand's direction.

Prospective Bumble Roofing franchisees should be aware that while conference attendance is currently optional, it could become mandatory during the term of their Franchise Agreement. Budgeting for potential conference fees and travel expenses is advisable. It would be prudent to inquire with Bumble Roofing about the frequency and location of past and planned conferences to better estimate these potential costs.
