What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to comply with any separate software license agreements. Specifically, Bumble Roofing franchisees must acquire, maintain, and upgrade hardware, software, information processing and communication systems, and Internet and other network access providers, as prescribed in the Manual and as modified periodically by Bumble Roofing.

Furthermore, franchisees must comply with any separate software or other license agreements that Bumble Roofing or its designee use in connection with the Bumble Roofing system. Franchisees are obligated to utilize Bumble Roofing's required software, and if established, proprietary database management and intranet system as the exclusive means for tracking and maintaining customer, vendor, and lead information, and for such other uses as prescribed by Bumble Roofing periodically in the Manual.

This requirement ensures that all Bumble Roofing franchisees operate using standardized and approved software, which helps maintain consistency and data integrity across the franchise system. It also allows Bumble Roofing to implement updates and changes to the software uniformly. The franchisee is responsible for paying all fees associated with these software licenses. This could represent a significant ongoing cost for the franchisee, in addition to the initial franchise fee and other operating expenses. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the specific software required, the associated costs, and the frequency of updates or upgrades.
