In addition, you must pay us or our designated third-party supplier all initial software license fees for any software you are required to use in the operation of your Roofing Business. We may charge the fees described in this paragraph at any time upon 30 days' written notice.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay initial software license fees for any required software used in their roofing business. In addition to these initial fees, franchisees are also responsible for a monthly Technology Fee, which is currently $345, for access to Bumble Roofing's designated technology package and 4 Microsoft Exchange email addresses.
Furthermore, Bumble Roofing franchisees are required to have a personal computer with a Windows or Macintosh operating system, Microsoft Office XP Professional (or a more recent version), and web-based resource center software. Franchisees are responsible for updating their computer systems to meet Bumble Roofing's evolving specifications, and upgrades may only be available through Bumble Roofing's suppliers. The estimated cost for optional or required maintenance, updates, and upgrades is between $0 and $500 per year.
In addition to the technology fee, Bumble Roofing requires franchisees to purchase QuickBooks Online for $74.50 per month and use designated quoting software. Franchisees must also purchase project management and subcontractor communication software (currently $80 per month), a voice-over-IP telephone service (currently $42 per month), and customer relationship management (CRM) software (currently $206 per month) from Bumble Roofing's designated suppliers. Franchisees may also opt to use a Drone AI imaging software for $440 per month or a call answering service for $395 to $415 per month.
