Franchisee shall operate the Business strictly in accordance with the required specifications and standards identified in the Manual.
Failure to comply with the required standards set forth in the Manual shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement.
Franchisor reserves the right to provide the Manual and updates to the Manual in electronic form or other form determined by Franchisor.
Franchisor shall have the right to modify the Manual from time to time to reflect changes in authorized Products and Services, business image or the operation of the Business.
Some of the revisions to the Manual may include changes with respect to: (i) sales and marketing strategies; (ii) equipment and supplies; (iii) accounting and reporting systems and forms; (iv) insurance requirements; (v) operating procedures; (vi) required technology; (vii) Services; and (viii) Products.
- (i) Franchisee covenants to accept, implement and adopt any such modifications at its own cost, except as provided in Section 8.5 of this Agreement.
Franchisee shall keep its Manual with replacement pages and insertions as instructed by Franchisor.

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their businesses strictly in accordance with the specifications and standards outlined in the Bumble Roofing manual. The manual contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules prescribed by Bumble Roofing. Failure to adhere to these standards constitutes a material breach of the franchise agreement.
The Bumble Roofing franchise agreement states that these required specifications, standards, and operating procedures exist to protect Bumble Roofing's interests in its system and marks and to ensure a consistent customer experience. However, these standards are not intended to give Bumble Roofing control over the franchisee's day-to-day operational matters, which are reserved to the franchisee.
Bumble Roofing retains the right to modify the manual periodically to reflect changes in authorized products and services, business image, or the operation of the business. These revisions may include changes to sales and marketing strategies, equipment and supplies, accounting and reporting systems, insurance requirements, operating procedures, required technology, services, and products. Franchisees are obligated to accept, implement, and adopt these modifications at their own cost, except as provided in Section 8.5 of the agreement, which may address specific situations where such changes could cause material hardship or reduce profitability.
