What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumble Roofing FDD, franchisees must safeguard the reputation and prestige of the Marks and Copyrighted Materials. Specifically, the franchisee must not take any actions that could tarnish the image or adversely affect the value, reputation, or goodwill associated with the Marks. Additionally, franchisees are prohibited from diluting the goodwill attached to the Marks, either directly or indirectly, or assisting others in doing so.

Bumble Roofing franchisees are required to use the Marks and Copyrighted Materials only in approved formats, including lettering, logos, print styles, forms, and formats for advertising, promotional materials, invoices, signage, business checks, business cards, stationery, and promotional items. Franchisees must also promptly follow any instructions provided by Bumble Roofing regarding the Marks and Copyrighted Materials, as outlined in the Manual or otherwise communicated by the franchisor.

Furthermore, franchisees must include a copyright notice on all advertising, promotional, or other materials used in connection with the Products and Services. They must also use the Marks with the appropriate superscript symbol (®), ™, or SM, as specified by Bumble Roofing, unless otherwise advised. While the FDD excerpt details the franchisee's obligations to protect the Marks, it does not explicitly state whether these obligations extend to cooperation before or after the termination of the franchise agreement. A prospective franchisee should seek clarification from Bumble Roofing regarding these specific post-termination obligations to fully understand their responsibilities.
