Does the Bumble Roofing franchise agreement require you to acknowledge that you have reviewed all exhibits and attachments to the disclosure document?

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit G, the Acknowledgment Addendum, includes a series of questions for prospective franchisees. One question asks if the franchisee received a copy of the disclosure document and all exhibits and attachments at least 14 calendar days prior to signing the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee must check either "Yes" or "No." If the answer is "No", the franchisee is prompted to comment.

Additionally, the Acknowledgment Addendum asks franchisees to confirm that they have carefully studied and reviewed the disclosure document and Franchise Agreement, again with a "Yes" or "No" response and a space for comments if they answer "No." Another question asks franchisees to confirm they understood all the information contained in both the disclosure document and the Franchise Agreement, with the same response options.

These acknowledgments are part of an effort by Bumble Roofing to ensure that franchisees have had adequate time to review the documents and understand their obligations before entering into the agreement. However, this Acknowledgment Addendum does not apply to franchisees who intend to operate the franchised business in the State of California. Also, franchisees who are Maryland or Washington residents, or if the franchise is to be located in Maryland or Washington, should not sign the Questionnaire.
