Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Notes:

  • (1) Expenditures. The estimated high and low ranges in the table are based on the past experience of Bumble Predecessor and company owned BUMBLE ROOFING® businesses and our estimate. All fees imposed by us are non-refundable unless otherwise noted. Fees and expenses paid to vendors or other third parties may or may not be refundable depending on the arrangements you make with them. The above chart reflects the estimated costs for a single territory.
  • (2) Initial Franchise Fee. For start-up franchises, the above chart assumes you did not qualify for any discounts and paid the standard Initial Franchise Fee. The high end of the range assumes you paid the standard Initial Franchise Fee is due when you sign the Franchise Agreement

and is generally non-refundable once paid. In limited circumstances, we may offer to finance up to 80% of your Initial Franchise Fee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, fees paid to Bumble Roofing are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Specifically, the initial franchise fee of $49,500 is typically non-refundable once the Franchise Agreement is signed. However, Bumble Roofing may offer financing for up to 80% of the initial franchise fee in certain limited circumstances.

Fees and expenses paid to third-party vendors may or may not be refundable, depending on the specific arrangements made with those vendors. This means that while Bumble Roofing's fees have a clear policy, franchisees need to carefully review the refund policies of other service providers they engage with during the setup and operation of their franchise.

Prospective franchisees should confirm the refund policies for all fees with Bumble Roofing and third-party vendors before making any payments. Understanding these policies is crucial for managing financial risk during the initial investment phase. Franchisees should also inquire about the specific conditions under which Bumble Roofing might offer a refund or financing for the initial franchise fee.
