Where in the Bumble Roofing FDD is the definition of 'National Accounts' provided?
Bumble_Roofing Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
[Item 12: TERRITORY]
We or our affiliates have the right to sell and enter into agreements with National Accounts, both inside and outside the Territory. A "National Account" means those customers or accounts we designate in our sole and absolute discretion, regardless of their geographic location, as desiring central billing accounts, or that have at least 20 locations, and such locations are located in more than one franchised or company-
owned territory or market. You must participate in any national accounts program (the "National Accounts Program") we designate and comply with the terms of the National Accounts Program as described in the Operations Manual or as we otherwise describe in writing. You understand that we will establish the rules under which you will participate, and be compensated for participation, in the National Accounts Program and that we may terminate, modify or replace the National Accounts Program at any time. You must pay us any then-current fees associated with the National Accounts Program.
If a National Account contacts you directly, you must refer the National Account to us. We will negotiate all contracts with National Accounts and you will not have any right to negotiate any contract or provide services to the National Account without our express written consent.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'National Accounts' is found in Item 12, which discusses territory. Bumble Roofing or its affiliates retain the right to sell to National Accounts both inside and outside of a franchisee's territory.
A 'National Account' is defined by Bumble Roofing as customers or accounts they designate, in their sole discretion, as desiring central billing accounts, or those with at least 20 locations in more than one franchised or company-owned territory or market. Franchisees are required to participate in any National Accounts Program designated by Bumble Roofing and must comply with the terms outlined in the Operations Manual or in writing. Bumble Roofing establishes the rules for participation and compensation in the National Accounts Program and may modify or terminate the program at any time. Franchisees are also responsible for paying any associated fees.
If a National Account contacts a franchisee directly, the franchisee must refer the account to Bumble Roofing. Bumble Roofing handles all contract negotiations with National Accounts, and franchisees cannot negotiate contracts or provide services to National Accounts without express written consent. This arrangement means that while franchisees may benefit from the presence of National Accounts, they have limited control over these relationships and must adhere to Bumble Roofing's directives.
