What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing does direct how a franchisee spends their Opening Advertising funds. During the period starting one month before opening their Roofing Business and continuing for the five months after opening, franchisees must launch a marketing and advertising campaign in their territory. Franchisees are required to spend a minimum of $20,000 during that six-month period on advertising approved by Bumble Roofing.

These Opening Advertising expenses are separate from the Individual Advertising obligations. While there is no limit to how much a franchisee can spend on advertising, they must use the marketing materials provided by Bumble Roofing in camera-ready form. If a franchisee wants to develop their own advertising materials, they must obtain written approval from Bumble Roofing before using them. Franchisees are not allowed to use any advertising or marketing materials, including press releases, unless Bumble Roofing has approved them in advance in writing.

Bumble Roofing will respond to requests for approval within 14 business days. If Bumble Roofing fails to respond within this timeframe, the materials are considered disapproved. Bumble Roofing does not handle the placement of local advertising on behalf of franchisees, making the franchisee responsible for local advertising placement. However, Bumble Roofing retains the right to designate the allocation and direct how franchisees should spend their Opening Advertising funds.
