What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are granted the nonexclusive right to use the service mark "BUMBLE ROOFING," along with various designs and logo types associated with their services. Additionally, Bumble Roofing may designate other current or future marks for franchisees to use in operating their Roofing Business. One such mark is "ROOFING, THE EASY WAY".

The right to use these marks is granted under the Franchise Agreement. However, franchisees must adhere to Bumble Roofing's rules regarding the use of these marks. Franchisees cannot use the marks alone or with modifying words, designs, or symbols as part of a corporate or business name, or in any form on the Internet, including URLs, domain names, e-mail addresses, locators, links, metatags, or search techniques, without prior written approval. Franchisees must also indicate that they are independent operators, as specified in the Franchise Agreement and the Operations Manual.

The FDD lists the registration date and number for the "Bumble Roofing" and "ROOFING, THE EASY WAY" marks. Franchisees must notify Bumble Roofing immediately if they become aware of any infringement or challenge to their use of the marks and must cooperate with Bumble Roofing or Lynx IP in any action taken to protect the marks. Franchisees must also modify or discontinue the use of a mark if Bumble Roofing modifies or discontinues it, in which case Bumble Roofing will reimburse the franchisee for their tangible out-of-pocket costs of compliance, such as changing letterheads and business cards.
