What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay advertising fees to different entities depending on the type of advertising. Specifically, the Individual Advertising Investment is payable to third-party suppliers or to Bumble Roofing for payment directly to National Account vendors where required. The Opening Advertising fee is payable to third-party suppliers or to Bumble Roofing.
For Individual Advertising, Bumble Roofing requires that these investments are spent according to their standards and specifications. Franchisees must also submit monthly or annual reports reflecting their advertising expenditures. All advertising materials, including those developed by the franchisee, must be approved by Bumble Roofing before use.
Opening Advertising funds must be spent on advertising that Bumble Roofing approves, and franchisees must use the marketing materials provided by Bumble Roofing in camera-ready form. This indicates that franchisees have some flexibility in choosing advertising methods but must adhere to Bumble Roofing's guidelines and obtain their approval.
