What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the National Branding & Marketing Fund will be administered by the Franchisor's accounting and marketing personnel or a representative designated by the Franchisor.
This means that Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC, will oversee the collection and spending of the National Branding & Marketing Fees. These fees are collected from all franchisees and are intended to promote the Bumble Roofing system, services, and products. The funds are specifically earmarked for advertising, public relations, market research, promotion, marketing of goods and services, payments to outside vendors (including marketing agencies), and the administration of the fund itself, including salaries, overhead, and legal costs.
Bumble Roofing maintains the National Branding & Marketing Funds in a separate account. Franchisees are entitled to review an annual unaudited financial statement of the fund, which will be available 120 days after the Franchisor's fiscal year end. This provides a degree of transparency, allowing franchisees to see how the collected fees are being utilized. However, the fees are non-refundable, and the Franchisor has the right to terminate the fund at its sole discretion. In the event of termination, any remaining balance will either be spent as outlined in the agreement or returned to franchisees on a pro-rata basis.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that while the National Branding & Marketing Fund is intended to benefit the entire Bumble Roofing system, the Franchisor is not obligated to spend funds specifically on an individual franchisee's behalf or in direct proportion to their contributions. Franchisees are also required to participate fully in all promotional campaigns and programs, whether national, regional, or local.
