Answer from 2025 FDD Document

As you know, you and we are entering into a Franchise Agreement for the operation of a BUMBLE ROOFING® franchise. The purpose of this Acknowledgment Addendum is to determine whether any statements or promises were made to you that we have not authorized or that may be untrue, inaccurate or misleading, and to be certain that you understand the limitations on claims that may be made by you by reason of the offer and sale of the franchise and operation of your business. Please review each of the following questions carefully and provide honest responses to each question.

This Questionnaire does not apply to franchisees who intend to operate the franchised business in the State of California. Do not complete this Questionnaire or respond to any of the questions contained in the Questionnaire if you intend to operate the franchised business in the State of California.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumble Roofing Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing uses an Acknowledgment Addendum to verify if any unauthorized or untrue statements were made to the franchisee. This addendum aims to identify any promises not included in the franchise agreement that could be misleading or inaccurate.

The Acknowledgment Addendum requires the prospective franchisee to answer questions about any statements or promises made during the franchise sales process that are not explicitly written in the Franchise Agreement. Bumble Roofing states that it relies on the franchisee's answers. By signing the addendum, the franchisee confirms they have carefully considered each question and provided truthful responses. If more space is needed, the franchisee can attach additional sheets.

However, this addendum does not apply to franchisees who intend to operate in California, Maryland, or Washington. Franchisees intending to operate in these states should not complete the questionnaire.

This process is intended to ensure that both Bumble Roofing and the franchisee are clear on the terms of the agreement and to limit potential future claims based on representations outside of the written contract. It is a common practice in franchising to avoid misunderstandings and protect both parties by documenting acknowledgements of this nature.
