There is no advertising fund. We do not require that our franchisees participate in local or regional advertising cooperatives nor do we require you to advertise. If you do advertising, you must submit any advertisements for our consent prior to using it. You may not advertise your services or use our Marks on the Internet without our consent. We have the right to specify the manner in which you will be allowed to advertise on the Internet and we can include those instructions in the Manual. There is no advertising council composed of franchisees that advises us on advertising policies or advertising cooperatives.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to participate in local or regional advertising cooperatives. Buildingstars does not have an advertising fund, nor are franchisees required to advertise at all. However, if a franchisee chooses to engage in advertising, they must first submit the advertisements to Buildingstars for approval.
Furthermore, franchisees are prohibited from advertising their services or using Buildingstars' trademarks on the internet without prior consent from the company. Buildingstars retains the right to specify how franchisees are allowed to advertise online, and these instructions may be included in the operations manual.
Finally, Buildingstars does not have an advertising council composed of franchisees that advises them on advertising policies or advertising cooperatives. This means franchisees do not have a formal mechanism to influence advertising strategies or contribute to a collective advertising effort.
