What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Buildingstars Franchise Disclosure Document, the term 'Service Provider' is not explicitly defined. However, the FDD does specify that Buildingstars franchisees are expected to provide cleaning services. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring their employees treat customers fairly and provide services in an honest, ethical, and nondiscriminatory manner.
The Buildingstars franchisee must not withhold any material information from customers or attempt to sell unnecessary services. Franchisees are required to deliver competent, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service, adhering to the minimum standards set by Buildingstars in the Confidential Operations Manual. The franchisee is not allowed to use the Buildingstars system or marks for any services other than the cleaning business without prior approval from Buildingstars.
While the FDD does not use the specific term 'Service Provider,' it outlines the obligations and standards expected of the franchisee and their employees in delivering cleaning services. A prospective franchisee should seek clarification from Buildingstars regarding any specific requirements or definitions related to service providers within their franchise system to fully understand their role and responsibilities.
