What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all of a franchisee's business dealings must be governed by the highest professional standards. These standards include honesty, integrity, fair dealing, and ethical conduct. This means that franchisees are expected to conduct their business operations in a transparent and ethical manner, ensuring that all interactions with customers, suppliers, and other parties are handled with the utmost integrity.

Buildingstars franchisees must also avoid any actions that could discredit, dishonor, or negatively impact the reputation of Buildingstars, its other franchisees, or its affiliates. This requirement underscores the importance of maintaining a positive brand image and ensuring that all business activities reflect well on the entire Buildingstars network. Franchisees are also obligated to pay all their financial obligations, including taxes, related to the purchase and operation of their business when due.

In addition, Buildingstars franchisees are expected to perform their obligations faithfully, honestly, and diligently, using their best efforts to promote and enhance the business. They must also avoid engaging in any business or activity that conflicts with their obligations under the franchise agreement. This ensures that franchisees remain focused on growing their Buildingstars business and do not divert their attention or resources to competing ventures. Franchisees must also ensure that their employees treat all customers fairly and provide services in an honest, ethical, and nondiscriminatory manner. They are also prohibited from withholding any material information from customers or attempting to sell them services that they do not need.

These standards are typical in franchising, as franchisors seek to protect their brand and ensure consistent quality across all locations. Prospective Buildingstars franchisees should carefully review these requirements to ensure they are comfortable adhering to these high professional standards. Maintaining these standards is crucial for the success and reputation of both the individual franchisee and the Buildingstars brand as a whole.
