What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buildingstars Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all costs associated with attending refresher training programs. This includes transportation, lodging, meals, and any other related expenses. Buildingstars also has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the refresher training programs themselves.

This means that if Buildingstars requires a franchisee to attend a refresher training program, the franchisee will need to budget for these additional costs. These costs can vary significantly depending on the location of the training and the duration of the stay. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these potential expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Buildingstars franchise.

It is fairly standard in the franchise industry for franchisees to bear the costs of ongoing training and development. This ensures that franchisees remain up-to-date with the latest industry standards, best practices, and any changes to the Buildingstars system. While it represents an additional expense, it also underscores the importance of continuous learning and improvement in maintaining a successful Buildingstars franchise.
