What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are two different tables showing the systemwide outlet summary. The first table shows that the net change in franchised outlets during 2023 was +165. This means that Buildingstars opened 165 more franchised locations than it closed during that year. At the start of 2023, there were 956 franchised outlets, and by the end of the year, there were 1,121.
The second table shows that the net change in franchised outlets during 2023 was +151. At the start of 2023, there were 909 franchised outlets, and by the end of the year, there were 1,060.
Because there are two different values for the net change in franchised outlets, a prospective franchisee should ask the franchisor to clarify and explain the discrepancy between these figures. It is important to understand how many outlets opened and closed to get an accurate picture of the franchise system's growth and stability.
