What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when notice is required under the agreement, if delivered personally, receipt is considered to have been made immediately upon personal delivery. The FDD specifies that receipt of notice is deemed to occur one day after mailing or immediately upon personal delivery, whichever happens first.

This means that any official communication delivered in person is considered 'received' the same day. This is important for time-sensitive matters, such as default notices or other contractual deadlines.

Buildingstars franchisees should be aware of this clause, as it affects how they respond to official notices from the franchisor and ensures they understand when a notice is officially considered received, impacting deadlines and response times.
