What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must seek approval from Buildingstars if a customer requests services or products outside the normal scope of the Buildingstars system. While the FDD does not specify a timeframe for Buildingstars to approve or deny a supplier requested by a franchisee, it does state a timeframe for advertising.
Specifically, if a Buildingstars franchisee wants to advertise their business, they must submit all advertising and sales promotion materials to Buildingstars for prior consent. Buildingstars then has 20 days to review the advertising materials.
If Buildingstars does not respond within that 20-day period, the advertising is considered acceptable. This 20-day period only applies to advertising materials, and there is no mention of a specific timeframe for Buildingstars to respond to a franchisee's request for approval of a supplier.
