What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buildingstars Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations at the federal, state, municipal, and local levels. These laws pertain to the franchise agreement, the business itself, and all aspects of how the business is conducted. This includes, but is not limited to, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.

This requirement means that a prospective Buildingstars franchisee must be aware of and adhere to a wide range of legal and regulatory requirements. These can cover areas such as employment law, environmental regulations, consumer protection laws, and health and safety standards. The franchisee is responsible for understanding these obligations and ensuring their business operations are fully compliant.

Buildingstars is not obligated to inform the franchisee of any changes to these laws, rules, or regulations. Therefore, it is the franchisee's responsibility to stay informed about any legal changes that may affect their business. This may require consulting with legal professionals or subscribing to industry-specific updates to ensure ongoing compliance. Failing to comply with these laws could result in fines, penalties, or legal action against the franchisee, which could negatively impact their business and the Buildingstars brand.
