What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buildingstars Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit all advertising and sales promotion materials to Buildingstars for prior consent. This includes internet advertising. If Buildingstars does not respond within 20 days of receiving the materials, the advertising is considered acceptable.

This requirement ensures that all advertising aligns with Buildingstars' brand standards and marketing strategies. It allows Buildingstars to maintain consistency in messaging and protect its trademarks. The 20-day approval window provides a reasonable timeframe for franchisees to receive feedback and proceed with their advertising plans.

Furthermore, the Buildingstars franchisee cannot use the Buildingstars marks in advertising without the appropriate copyright, trademark, and service mark registration symbols for those marks which are registered and without Buildingstars' consent. This protects Buildingstars' intellectual property and ensures proper usage of its branding elements in all promotional activities. Franchisees must adhere to these guidelines to avoid potential legal issues and maintain the integrity of the Buildingstars brand.
