What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice required under the terms of the franchise agreement must be in writing. The notice can be sent via registered or certified mail, or by personal delivery to the franchisee's address or to Buildingstars' office.
The FDD specifies that receipt of notice is considered to have occurred either one day after mailing or immediately upon personal delivery, whichever happens first. This means that if a Buildingstars franchisee hand-delivers a notice, Buildingstars will be deemed to have received it at the moment of delivery.
This clause is important for franchisees because it establishes clear guidelines for how and when official notices are considered received, which can impact deadlines and obligations under the franchise agreement. Franchisees should ensure they adhere to these notice provisions to avoid any potential disputes or misunderstandings with Buildingstars.
