What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from withholding material information from customers. The FDD states that franchisees must treat all customers fairly, provide services honestly, ethically, and in a nondiscriminatory manner. Furthermore, a Buildingstars franchisee cannot withhold any material information from its customers or attempt to sell any service to them that the franchisee believes, in good faith, is not needed.
This requirement ensures transparency and ethical conduct in all customer interactions. It protects customers from potentially unnecessary services or hidden information that could affect their decisions. This obligation also reinforces Buildingstars's brand reputation for integrity and trustworthiness.
This provision is a standard practice in franchising, as franchisors typically want to ensure consistent and ethical service delivery across all franchise locations. By mandating honesty and transparency, Buildingstars aims to maintain customer satisfaction and protect its brand image. Prospective franchisees should understand that adhering to these ethical standards is a fundamental part of operating a Buildingstars franchise.
