What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buildingstars Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars franchisees are obligated to treat all customers fairly and provide services in an honest, ethical, and nondiscriminatory manner. This requirement is explicitly stated in the FDD, ensuring that franchisees understand their responsibility to uphold these standards in all their business dealings.
This obligation extends to refraining from withholding any material information from customers and avoiding the sale of services that the franchisee believes are unnecessary. This ensures transparency and builds trust with customers, which is crucial for maintaining a positive reputation and fostering long-term relationships. Franchisees must also avoid deceptive or unethical advertising practices and are limited to making promises, representations, and guarantees authorized by Buildingstars.
Furthermore, Buildingstars franchisees are expected to maintain good customer relations and provide competent, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service. They must also adhere to minimum standards established by Buildingstars, as outlined in the Confidential Operations Manual. These standards collectively aim to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all Buildingstars franchise locations.
Compliance with these standards is essential for maintaining the integrity of the Buildingstars brand and ensuring customer satisfaction. Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in Buildingstars discontinuing the franchisee's right to service a customer account, as Buildingstars retains the right to do so if it determines the franchisee is not adequately servicing the customer.
