According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to preserve good customer relations. Specifically, Buildingstars franchisees must render competent, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service. They must also meet the minimum standards that Buildingstars establishes from time to time in the Confidential Operations Manual.

Buildingstars also conducts periodic quality control and customer relations visits to each customer account location serviced by the franchisee. Buildingstars retains the right to discontinue allowing a franchisee to service a customer account if Buildingstars determines the franchisee is not adequately servicing the customer. Factors Buildingstars considers include customer complaints, unresponsiveness to the customer or Buildingstars, allegations by the customer of theft or breakage, and lateness or failure to complete the job in a professional manner.
