What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not permitted to withhold any material information from its customers. The FDD states that Buildingstars franchisees must treat all customers fairly, provide services honestly and ethically, and not discriminate in their service.
Specifically, Buildingstars franchisees are prohibited from withholding any material information from customers. Additionally, franchisees cannot attempt to sell services that they believe, in good faith, are not needed by the customer. This requirement ensures transparency and ethical conduct in all customer interactions.
Buildingstars also requires franchisees to avoid deceptive, misleading, or unethical advertising. Franchisees are only allowed to make promises, representations, and guarantees to customers that are authorized by Buildingstars. This is to ensure that customers receive accurate and reliable information about the services offered. Franchisees must also maintain good customer relations and provide competent, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service, adhering to the minimum standards set by Buildingstars in its Confidential Operations Manual.
