What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not permitted to display any business name or service that is not authorized by Buildingstars. The franchisee must operate, advertise, and promote the business under the name "Buildingstars" without any prefix or suffix, and use the marks and system as prescribed by Buildingstars.
Buildingstars franchisees must prominently display the Buildingstars marks in connection with their business and avoid any actions that could negatively impact the public image of Buildingstars, the business, the system, or the marks. This includes ensuring that no unauthorized business names or services are displayed at the business location.
If a Buildingstars customer requests services or products that are not normally part of the Buildingstars system, the franchisee must first notify Buildingstars and obtain approval. Buildingstars will generally approve such requests if the additional services do not interfere with the core franchise services, are not associated with the Buildingstars marks and system, and the franchisee can provide them competently. The customer must also be informed that these additional services are not part of the Buildingstars franchise. Buildingstars retains the right to object to future requests, even if previous requests were approved.
