What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to opening your Buildingstars business as a Technician Program franchisee, Buildingstars will provide a list of necessary equipment and supplies.

The equipment and supplies may be available for sale by Buildingstars' affiliates. However, franchisees are not required to purchase these items from Buildingstars or its affiliates. Franchisees have the option to purchase these items from any supplier, provided that the products meet Buildingstars' standards as outlined in the Confidential Operations Manual.

Notably, the FDD specifies that none of the equipment needs to be installed, suggesting that the equipment and supplies are relatively simple and straightforward to use. This flexibility in sourcing equipment and supplies allows franchisees to potentially find more cost-effective options, but it also places the responsibility on the franchisee to ensure that all purchased items meet Buildingstars' standards to maintain consistency and quality in service delivery.
