What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is considered to have begun operations of the business when five specific conditions are met. These conditions ensure that the franchisee is properly trained, licensed, insured, equipped, and compliant with the franchise agreement before commencing business. Meeting these conditions is crucial for maintaining the Buildingstars brand standards and ensuring a consistent customer experience.

First, one of the principal owners of the Buildingstars franchise must have successfully completed the Initial Training Program. This ensures that the franchisee has the necessary knowledge and skills to operate the business according to Buildingstars's standards. Second, the franchisee must obtain all necessary licenses and permits required to legally operate the business. This includes compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Third, the franchisee must provide proof of insurance coverage as required by Buildingstars. This protects both the franchisee and Buildingstars from potential liabilities. Fourth, the franchisee must have all necessary and required materials and supplies for the proper operation of the business. This ensures that the franchisee can deliver the services expected by customers. Finally, the franchisee must be in full compliance with the franchise agreement. This ensures that the franchisee adheres to all the terms and conditions set forth by Buildingstars.

These requirements are typical in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to ensure that franchisees are adequately prepared and compliant before they begin operations. By meeting these conditions, Buildingstars aims to maintain a consistent brand image and quality of service across all its franchise locations.
