What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars retains the right to discontinue allowing a franchisee to service a customer account if Buildingstars, in its sole discretion, determines that the franchisee is not adequately servicing the customer account. Factors Buildingstars considers include customer complaints, unresponsiveness to the customer or Buildingstars, allegations by the customer of theft or breakage, and lateness or failure to complete the job in a professional manner.

This means that Buildingstars franchisees must maintain a high level of service and responsiveness to both customers and the franchisor to avoid losing accounts. Customer satisfaction is a key factor in maintaining the right to service an account. Franchisees should ensure they address customer complaints promptly and professionally, maintain open communication with both customers and Buildingstars, and ensure their cleaning services are performed reliably and professionally.

It is important to note that Buildingstars has sole discretion in determining whether a franchisee is adequately servicing an account. If Buildingstars discontinues a franchisee's right to service an account, it has no obligation to replace that account with another. This underscores the importance of consistently meeting Buildingstars' standards and maintaining positive customer relations to protect the franchisee's revenue stream.
