What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars will offer continuing advisory assistance in the operation of the franchise. Buildingstars reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for this assistance.

In addition to a reasonable fee, Buildingstars is entitled to compensation for any travel expenses its employees incur while providing this advisory assistance. These travel expenses include, but are not limited to, transportation, lodging, meals, and other related expenses.

This means that if a Buildingstars franchisee requires on-site support or consultation, they may be responsible for covering not only a service fee but also the costs associated with sending Buildingstars personnel to their location. Franchisees should clarify what constitutes a 'reasonable fee' and get an estimate of potential travel costs to budget accordingly.
