What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars is the only entity obligated to the franchisee under the franchise agreement. The franchisee cannot seek performance of the agreement from any of Buildingstars' affiliates, related companies, or individuals.
This means that the franchisee's legal and contractual relationship is solely with Buildingstars as the franchisor. Any parent companies, subsidiaries, or other related entities of Buildingstars have no direct obligations to the franchisee. This is a fairly standard arrangement in franchising, designed to clarify liability and responsibility.
As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that you cannot pursue legal action or expect support from any entity other than Buildingstars itself regarding the franchise agreement. This limitation of liability is a key consideration when evaluating the franchise opportunity and assessing the financial stability and resources of Buildingstars as the primary obligated party.
