What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars can designate an address other than their office for official notices. The FDD states that when notice is required, it must be in writing and sent via registered or certified mail, or personal delivery, to the franchisee's address and to Buildingstars' office, "or at such other address as designated in accordance with this Section."
This means that Buildingstars has the option to specify an alternative address for receiving official communications related to the franchise agreement. This could be a corporate headquarters, a legal office, or any other location they deem appropriate.
For a prospective franchisee, this clause is important because it clarifies how official notices will be delivered and where Buildingstars can be reached. It is advisable for a franchisee to confirm the designated address for Buildingstars at the time of signing the agreement to ensure all communications are properly directed.
