VII. OBLIGATIONS OF FRANCHISEE
- A. Business Opening. FRANCHISEE must begin operations of the Business within fortyfive (45) days after the Principal Owner successfully completes the Initial Training Program. The FRANCHISEE is deemed to have begun operations of the Business when:

- One of the Principal Owners of FRANCHISEE has successfully completed the Initial Training Program;

- FRANCHISEE has all necessary licenses and permits;

- FRANCHISEE has provided proof of insurance coverage as required herein;

- FRANCHISEE has all necessary and required materials and supplies for the proper operation of the Business; and

- FRANCHISEE is in full compliance with this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is considered to have begun operations of their Buildingstars business when specific conditions are met. The franchisee must begin operations within 45 days after the Principal Owner successfully completes the Initial Training Program.
To be deemed as having begun operations, one of the Principal Owners of the Buildingstars franchise must have successfully completed the Initial Training Program. Additionally, the franchisee must possess all necessary licenses and permits required to operate the business legally.
Furthermore, the Buildingstars franchisee is required to provide proof of insurance coverage as mandated by the franchise agreement.
