What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars may provide refresher training programs. The franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses, including transportation, lodging, and meals, for themselves and their employees when attending these programs. Buildingstars retains the right to charge a reasonable fee for the refresher training programs.

This means that as a Buildingstars franchisee, you should budget for potential refresher training costs. These costs include not only the direct fees charged by Buildingstars for the training itself but also the indirect costs of travel and accommodation. The FDD does not specify the amount of the 'reasonable fee,' so it is important to discuss this with Buildingstars to understand the potential financial impact.

Franchisors in general often provide ongoing training and support, but the specific costs and responsibilities vary. Some franchisors may include refresher training as part of their ongoing support without additional fees, while others may charge separately. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these costs to accurately assess the overall investment and operational expenses of the franchise.
