What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars may offer refresher training programs periodically, setting the time and location. If Buildingstars provides these programs, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses for themselves and their employees to attend. These expenses include transportation, lodging, and meals.
In addition to covering the costs of attending the refresher training programs, Buildingstars has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the refresher training itself. This means that franchisees should budget not only for travel and accommodation but also for potential training fees when considering ongoing development and support.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often provide ongoing training and support but may charge fees to cover their costs. Franchisees should inquire about the frequency and estimated cost of these refresher training programs to factor them into their overall investment and operational expenses.
