What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buildingstars's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buildingstars has the right to change or modify its written policies, practices, procedures, regulations, and standards for franchisees. Specifically, franchisees must comply with Buildingstars' written policies, practices, procedures, regulations, and standards, whether they are in the Confidential Operations Manual or other materials supplied by Buildingstars. These policies can be changed or modified by Buildingstars from time to time.
This means that a Buildingstars franchisee must stay updated on any changes to the operating standards and policies. These changes can be communicated through the Confidential Operations Manual or other materials provided by Buildingstars. It is the franchisee's responsibility to adhere to these updated standards to maintain compliance with the franchise agreement.
Furthermore, Buildingstars has the right to change the Marks (logos and other identifying symbols) used by the franchisee at any time and for any reason. The franchisee is responsible for paying the costs associated with these changes and must implement the necessary changes promptly. This could involve updating signage, marketing materials, and other branded items to reflect the new Marks. This requirement ensures that all Buildingstars franchises maintain a consistent brand image, but it also places a financial burden on the franchisee to cover the costs of these changes.
