Under what condition will the Protected Area for a Buff City Soap franchise be described in Exhibit G?

According to the 2025 Buff City Soap FDD, the Protected Area for a franchisee will be described in Exhibit G once Buff City Soap approves the Premises and both parties execute Exhibit G, which identifies the location of the Premises. This exhibit is then incorporated into the franchise agreement. The franchisee must operate their Makery within the Designated Area.

Buff City Soap retains specific rights both inside and outside the Protected Area, except for those rights expressly granted to the franchisee in the agreement. These reserved rights allow Buff City Soap to advertise and promote the System, operate other Buff City Soap makeries outside the Protected Area (even adjacent ones), and sell products through various channels, without restriction, as long as they do not establish another Buff City Soap makery within the franchisee's Protected Area.

The franchisee's ability to solicit business and sell products is affected by the Protected Area. While franchisees can sell services and products to anyone, they are restricted from direct solicitation activities outside their Protected Area and cannot engage in target marketing within another franchisee's Protected Area. Target marketing is defined as a concerted effort to solicit customers through advertising directed at another franchisee's Protected Area.

Exhibit G also includes details about the Premises for the Makery, a map of the Premises attached as Schedule G-1, and the Opening Date for the Makery. It also addresses any existing brands operated by the franchisee, ensuring that continued operation of those brands does not create a competitive conflict with the Buff City Soap franchise.
