What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buff City Soap's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Fund can be used to cover various administrative costs related to marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Specifically, the Brand Fund may be used for the administration of regional, multi-regional, and national advertising and marketing programs.

This includes employing marketing, advertising, and promotional agencies to assist with these programs. Additionally, the Brand Fund can support public relations, maintenance of the System websites, and online presence. These activities are all aimed at promoting the Buff City Soap brand and the System under which the makeries operate.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that a portion of their Brand Fund contributions could be used to pay for the administrative costs associated with these marketing initiatives. However, Buff City Soap has the sole discretion to determine which activities are appropriate and how the Brand Fund is allocated. This gives Buff City Soap flexibility in managing the Brand Fund to support the overall growth and recognition of the brand.
