The General Manager will execute the Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit C and report to the Operator.
The Operator will supervise the General Manager and the operations of the Makery.
The Operator may not be involved in or supervise any other business or retail establishment concept outside of Buff City Soap makeries.

According to Buff City Soap's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Operator has specific supervisory responsibilities over the General Manager. The Operator is required to supervise the General Manager and the overall operations of the Buff City Soap Makery.
Furthermore, the Operator's role is exclusive to Buff City Soap; they cannot be involved in or supervise any other business or retail establishment outside of Buff City Soap makeries. This restriction ensures that the Operator's focus remains solely on the success and management of the Buff City Soap franchise.
Both the General Manager and the Operator must meet certain qualifications, including completing initial training to Buff City Soap's satisfaction. If either the General Manager or the Operator is unable to continue in their role, the franchisee must promptly notify Buff City Soap and designate a qualified replacement within 30 days. Failure to comply with these requirements can result in an event of default under the Franchise Agreement.
